Beverly Politi

Beverly Politi is a Painter and Printmaker born in the Bronx NY, in 1931. Beverly moved to Los Angeles in 1951 with her husband who was beginning his career as an engineer with Lockheed.

 

Raw, explorative and bold, her work spans from the mid century through the 1980’s. During that time she also raised her two children, actively participated in charity work, and earned both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Fine Arts.

 

Beverly’s paintings have been purchased for several private collections in Southern California including that of the late actor Michael Wilding, and the legendary Frank Sinatra.

A collection of Eames furniture, purchased in the 1950’s by Beverly and her husband Edward, was recently acquired by The Eames Institute in Northern California. A future exhibit is planned for this collection, and will also include a group of Beverly’s prints.
